Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy of education is that all students are essential, regardless of K-12 or university. I want to change the world, and I must start with myself; that is why I am a teacher. Students are unique and deserve to have an educational environment where they feel stimulated and can grow in knowledge, emotionally and socially, where they feel part of a society that gives them opportunities to develop all their concerns and support a whole community. It is necessary to offer them an atmosphere where students can reach their maximum learning level. An environment where everyone's opinions are respected and a sense of critical thinking can be developed where students learn to decide ideas and possess their criteria of life.
It is of utmost importance to apply the learning elements, such as (1) the motivation of the learner; (2) stimulus, in the form of knowledge and skills; (3) test the learning, apply the knowledge; (4) feedback and reinforcement to complete the learning process; (5) rewards for their dedication.
A teacher is morally obligated to enter the classroom with the highest expectations for every student. Therefore, the teacher must possess pedagogy to maximize the positive benefits to feel capable of achieving their goals inside and outside the classroom. Students will live up to their commitments with dedication, perseverance, and constant work.
My goal as a teacher is to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom every day. In addition, I owe it to my students and the community to bring perseverance, diligence, integrity, dignity, and warmth to my work. The ultimate goal is to inspire and encourage students and my coworkers.
